This picture was taken in my backyard. I am grateful to have this beautiful pond that adds much tranquility to our daily lives. In the summer, my backyard is where I spend a lot of my time reading, relaxing, painting and gardening. I have used this setting for several paintings, both in my "31" paintings and my Transcending Calm paintings.


Bailey, my water dog, really likes the pond too.
